Call for Young Male Actor (CT)
Penguin Films is looking for a young male actor aged 13-16 to play a supporting role in a feature film about a young jazz musician who is desperate to follow his dream of becoming a saxophonist.
“Felix!” will be shot in Cape Town during September/October 2012. Character brief: Ricardo Geduld is a gentle giant who grew up in Grassy Park and knows how to defend himself. Ricardo’s a defender of the underdog and can be surprisingly fierce. English or Afrikaans speaking. Actor can be aged 13-16, but should look like a large Grade 8 boy.
