It's Wine O'Clock

Wine O’Clock Hits KZN

The Mercury Wine Week is KZN’s largest and longest standing wine show. In its 36th year, this sumptuous event has wine lovers from across the province thirsty for the illustrious array of Cape grapes. Hundreds of wines from the vineyards of the West will be exhibited under one roof and tasted by East Coast wine lovers and learners.

Unlimited wine tasting each evening is coupled with a brand new feature, the Grindrod Bank Wine Theatre. This theatre will host three dedicated tastings each night, hosted by individual wine estates. Visitors are invited to pause for 20 minutes to learn about the estate and tantalise their taste buds with their unique aromas and flavours.
Finger foods and cheeses by Fairview and Checkers provide the perfect nibbles to accompany the fine wine. For those who consider ‘wine o’clock’ a sacred affair, a special R160 ticket will offer a satisfying two-night pass, valid for Wednesday and Thursday nights only. For wine clubs or groups of 10 people or more, a 20% discount applies.
Buy your tickets at the door or beforehand from Computicket at R100 per person.
27-29 August 2014
17:30 to 20:30 each night, at SUNCOAST

No under 18’s. Please drink responsibly.

Free Mobile Marketing Conference for Durban in August

Mobile advertising is increasingly becoming an important component to most marketers especially as smartphone adoption trends are soaring to high proportions. With a range of mobile advertising options, including SMS, WAP, mobile app display ads, search ads, rich media, video and push notifications, the landscape can be a bit complicated. Advertisers are now accruing value and increasingly adding mobile in their marketing budgets. In South Africa, SMS is one of the most popular advertising methods and this is attributed to its low cost and ease of use.

The biggest decisions for marketers now is, whether to build a mobi-site or an app, for advertisers, whether to advertise on mobi-sites, apps, or both. Mobile advertising is constantly proving that marketers are taking an interest in new technology, marketing within apps is as easy as creating an ad campaign targeted to a specific audience.
