Friday 6 December: 5pm – 10pm
Part of the attraction of the Night Markets is the fabulous open air live music on offer. This time there will be three musical interludes: First up is Josh Wantenaar singer / songwriter and guitarist / vocalist for Arise; second act on the bill is Majozi who plays a fun twist to covers as well as his own songs, and thirdly the mic is passed to Seb Goldswain – talented protégée guitarist, best known for playing with the Sir Walrus band.
With the beautiful crisp spring evenings, the decision was to take the market outdoors for a while to star gaze while browsing! The idea is to contain the market in the Docklands Hotel’s charming courtyard. The range of products on display is evolving to focus on Durban’s top creatives and funky, cutting-edge design, handcrafted and bespoke items. The vendor mix will include lighting ideas, decor items, restoration services, furniture, fine artists, personal accessories – and of course festive fare. The Docklands restaurant and WODKA will be open for dinner. There will also be food and beverage stalls available.
Three Cities Docklands Hotel can be found at the corner of Mahatma Gandhi and Browns Avenue. There is ample parking at Docklands– with additional security
