ALUTA FILM FESTIVAL 2015
SOUTH AFRICA

Monday 01 September 2014 
The organisers of the ALUTA FILM FESTIVAL, South Africa's premier African and Diasporan cinema event, are calling for entries from South African and International filmmakers for 2015, the 11th edition of the film festival. 
The 2015 film festival edition will be hosted on the 26th till 28th February 2015 in Mbombela City (Nelspruit) in the Mpumalanga Province - South Africa
Submissions MUST be from filmmakers of all races and nationalities who have produced films that embrace BLACK experiences worldwide and/or experiences of marginalized communities from across the globe.
Submissions MUST be from filmmakers from all over the world with special emphasis on BLACK cinema (films that explores and highlights diverse perspectives of African and Diasporan communities around the world).

Thursday 26 – Saturday 28 February 2015
CALL FOR ENTRY DEADLINE:
Monday 15 December 2014  
Aluta Film Festival accepts features, documentaries and short films in the genres/sub-genres of drama, action, thriller, comedy, animation and factual.
Filmmakers MUST guarantee, should their film be selected, that permission from the rights holder is secured for a minimum of four screenings at the 11th annual Aluta Film Festival 2015. 
Filmmakers are requested to submit 2X DVD PAL screeners of their films and a brief filmmaker biography for viewing by our panel, upon viewing – all selected filmmakers will be forwarded the official application details as well as all festival regulations. Please note that no screeners will be returned.
Online entries are also accepted _ filmmakers wishing to make online submissions MUST indicate their interest to do so via email at info@bushcoffee.co.za by Friday 14 November 2014 
Marketing material for your entry are also welcomed although not compulsory

Since 1998, the BlueCat Screenplay Competition has developed and discovered thousands of writers through our commitment to providing written feedback to all entrants and substantial cash awards to their best screenplays:
