Connell Cruise delights fans at Virgin Mobile flagship store in Braamies

On Friday 19 September, fans flocked to the Virgin Mobile flagship store in Braamfontein to meet with popular South African singer Connell Cruise.

The three times SAMA nominee and brand ambassador for LG Electronics and their G3 smartphone, who’s been topping iTunes charts with hits such as Into the Wild, climbed into the Virgin Mobile Mini Cooper photobooth to take selfies with locals.

In August 2014, the 27 year old Jo’burg born singer signed a mega recording deal with Sony/Epic Records in the USA. Since then he has been flying back and forth from New York City compiling his next album.

“I landed from New York just the other day and I’m still feeling very jet lagged. Today, being at the Virgin Mobile store has been great.  It’s been packed with some really cool people who took time out of their day to come say hi. I’m really lucky and really privileged to be able to do all this cool stuff,” says Connell.

When asked what his plans were for the future, Connell replied, “To carry on making good music while working with the best people. I want to make SA super proud and really live up to this incredible opportunity”.
